The new Guardian Designs Pseudo-Pin Valve is a quick opening, full-line capacity, pressure relief valve.  The Guardian Valve uses Force Vectoring and Pseudo-Pin Technology to eliminate the need for pins, seals and membranes required by traditional pin valves.  This patent pending design is superior to current pin valves due to the repeatability across a broad range of set pressures and service conditions. Traditional pin valves either place the pin in compression or shear load and are dependent upon numerous factors to obtain repeatability.  The Guardian Valve, using Pseudo-Pin Technology, is set much like a traditional pressure relief valve.  The main difference is that the Guardian Pseudo-Pin is external to the process and is not affected by process conditions other than pressure.
